Retail Sales Associate

Hawai'i Pacific Parks Association seeks a full-time (40 hours per week) Sales/Interpretation Associate for its store at Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park located in Hōnaunau, HI. Join our team and help inspire visitors to connect with and support the wonders of Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Histocial Park.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

- Duties include, but are not limited to: Greet and welcome visitors to the visitor center park store. Promote and sell interpretive merchandise related to the park's themes and resources. Assist visitors with inquiries, purchases, and general customer service needs. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Provide information and interpretation about the park's attractions, history, and natural features. Participate in inventory management and restocking activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred. Knowledge of Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park and it's cultural and natural resources is a plus. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
