Retail Sales Associate- Liquor Store

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections, offering recommendations and conducting product demos when appropriate Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products by highlighting promotions, new arrivals, or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and appealing Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with merchandising to keep the store inviting and well-organized Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Support in training new team members or supervising staff to ensure smooth daily operations (if applicable) Requirements Prior retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or liquor stores, with familiarity in cashiering and basic retail math skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to boost sales performance Knowledge of alcohol regulations and responsible service practices (preferred) Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership roles within the team Join us to be part of a dynamic environment where your energy makes a difference!
