Job Overview We're looking for Story Rangers & Game Guides —engaging, curious, and playful individuals who go beyond traditional retail to build a community around gaming and storytelling . Be a Story Ranger

• Bring the magic of The Wylding Woods to life! Drop hints about the myths and characters surrounding our immersive world, sparking curiosity and encouraging guests to explore further. Improvise imaginative story fragments as you interact with customers, making each visit feel like the start of a new adventure. Be a Game Guide
• Share your passion for tabletop games, role-playing adventures, and storytelling games. Help customers find the perfect game by understanding their experience level and interests. Teach new games, offer recommendations, and create an inviting space for play. Engage Customers & Sell With Enthusiasm
• This isn't a passive retail job—you'll be actively guiding customers, sparking conversations, and helping them discover something exciting. Whether it's the perfect game, book, or toy, you make shopping an interactive experience . Handle Transactions
• Operate the POS system, process purchases, and ensure smooth checkouts while maintaining a friendly, engaging presence at the register. Curate the Space
• Keep the store visually inspiring by restocking, arranging displays, and maintaining an organized and welcoming atmosphere. Support Events & Experiences
• Assist with in-store game nights, storytelling sessions, and immersive play events.

Who You Are:

A storyteller at heart , excited to improvise and engage customers with narrative fragments from The Wylding Woods . Passionate about games , from classic board games to RPGs and storytelling-based adventures. A strong communicator who can connect with customers of all ages and skill levels. Creative and playful , able to spark curiosity through conversation and interaction. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, imaginative retail environment. Reliable and adaptable , comfortable balancing retail duties with immersive customer engagement.

Relevant Experience:
