A day in the life for Sales & Customer Service Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays \"runway ready\", & is sized & filled in through re-merchandising & straightening throughout the day? Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online & mobile), which includes operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items of all size, handling bulky sometimes heavy items including boxes, & ensuring a seamless & friendly experience Create a smooth fitting room experience when supporting as a fitting room attendant by greeting & assisting customers & sorting & returning clothing to the floor? Create a clean & clutter-free customer experience by sorting & returning clothing to the salesfloor Keep the stockrooms organized & ensure merchandise is properly checked in & accurately ticketed? Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment Adhere to all operational, merchandise & asset protection standards Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program A day in a life for Stock Support & Fulfillment Receive, unload freight, unpack & deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments? Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards? Prepare & ship customer?s orders following quality, packing & shipping standards? Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process & research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes? Assist in maintaining clean & organized selling floors & stockrooms? Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, & relocate store fixtures? You own this if you have Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills Accountability, initiative & a high level of ownership Organizational skills, attention to detail & ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Physical Requirements:

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing & reaching in order to handle merchandise & assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling Handle bulky & sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for & lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds & occasionally up to 25 pounds
