Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are stocked and visually appealing Handle stock replenishment by stocking shelves, processing deliveries, and managing inventory levels Maintain proper cash handling procedures and perform cashier duties accurately using retail math skills Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Support the store's promotional activities through product demos and upselling techniques Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery or similar store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions is essential Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Able to lift more than 20 pounds Join us as a Retail Store Associate and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail expertise!
