Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate features through product demos, and upsell relevant items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandise displays by merchandising products effectively and stocking shelves regularly Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and alerting supervisors of low inventory or discrepancies Ensure proper phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear information and support Support store operations through cashiering duties, basic math calculations for transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills in both spoken and written language; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts Experience with merchandising, stock management, or grocery store environments is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced settings Knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication techniques for engaging with customers over the phone or in person Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Join us today to be part of a lively retail environment where your energy makes a difference!
