Retail Store Associate- Seasonal Part Time

Gilmore Car Museum is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. This role combines retail sales responsibilities with support for special events, and promotions. The Retail Associate is energetic, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience both on the sales floor and at events. Gilmore Car Museum employees are expected to go above and beyond to provide excellent guest experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide product knowledge and recommendations to drive sales Process transactions accurately using POS systems Maintain visual merchandising standards and restock inventory Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals Process memberships Scooter rental Camping coordination Handle gate and admissions for special events Answer phones and back up the administration team Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Basic math and cash-handling skills Experience assisting with events, promotions, or brand activations Retail sales and customer service

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing and walking Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching Ability to safely handle equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds

Pay:

$13.73 per hour
