Retail Store Manager / Sales

Urban Forge is a locally owned and growing manufacturer of hand-forged iron furniture and décor. Our retail showroom is housed in a beautiful 2029 stone building in the heart of historic Mountain View and serves customers from across the country. This is a retail leadership role with strong commission potential for someone who enjoys sales and customer relationships. Store Leadership & Operations Lead daily store operations and retail team members Set and communicate store objectives and priorities Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom Manage scheduling, coverage, and day-to-day execution Sales & Customer Experience Greet and assist customers in the showroom Drive sales and guide customers through purchasing decisions Manage follow-up with leads and existing customers Handle inbound calls, emails, and inquiries Team Development Train and support part-time retail associates Set expectations and ensure accountability Provide direct feedback and coaching Growth & Marketing Support Contribute to sales tracking and reporting Assist with promotions, events, and basic content efforts Coordinate merchandising and inventory needs Qualifications Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, written) Leadership ability and team management experience preferred Sales-oriented and results-driven Organized and detail-oriented Self-starter with initiative Comfortable managing multiple priorities Basic proficiency with common software tools

Pay:
