Warehouse Associate Lead Reports To:
Director of Operations, Supervisor Non-Exempt SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for receiving incoming merchandise via scanner into inventory. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting any packing list discrepancies. This position will be providing prices by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assisting with planning and overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations Assure stock is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition Assist with providing necessary security within the warehouse Communicate with departments, vendors, and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, coordinate activities as needed Provide work-related direction, assist in training employees Follow established departmental guidelines and policies, procedures, and objectives including, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety Plan, organize, and assist with training to aid in daily performance Observe health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and orderly environment Monitors and maintains current inventory levels, processes, and tracks inventory discrepancies Preforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Receive incoming products from venders or other warehouses, assist in unloading trucks Verify quantity and product types of each inbound items against packing slips or invoices Appropriately record discrepancies at the point of inception Properly process items to be relocated into storage areas and tagged/labeled for the appropriate destination Communicate with both inter departments as well as customers, providing status of deliveries or availability All items and quantities and discrepancies to entered company provided software at the point of receiving Coordinate efforts with staff to always ensure proper cleanliness and product consolidation within the warehouse Assisting in picking. packing and shipment of orders Enforces safety, health, and security rules. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. All other duties as required by management.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 5-10 employees in the assigned Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS
