The Opportunity The Revenue Accountant is responsible for the accurate recognition, tracking, and reporting of all farm revenue streams across a large-scale, multi-channel agricultural operation. This role ensures alignment between operational systems (e.g., Darland) and accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central). What You'll Be Responsible For Revenue Recognition & Accounting Record and reconcile all revenue transactions (On-Farm and Off-Farm sales) Ensure revenue recognition aligns with contractual terms Maintain accurate period-end cut-off procedures Validate pricing, weights, and quality specifications Sales & Inventory Integration Reconcile tons grown, sold, and inventory Align field data, inventory, and sales records Investigate discrepancies across systems Invoicing & Accounts Receivable Oversee invoicing accuracy and timing Track AR and aging Reconcile payments and support collections Reporting & Analytics Weekly/monthly dashboards (tons, sales, cash) Inventory and receivables tracking Revenue analysis by customer and quality Support EBITDA reporting System Ownership Lead revenue workflows in Business Central Ensure Darland integration Drive automation and SOP development Audit & Compliance Maintain audit-ready documentation Support audits and ensure internal controls What We're Looking For Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (10+ years) CPA preferred 5+ years experience ERP experience (Business Central preferred) Advanced Excel skills
