You will receive and review work assignments; determine scope of work; anticipate problems that may arise in accomplishing unusual jobs; plans breakdown of job assignments to subordinate supervisors. You will initiate preliminary action to expedite and assure availability of special equipment, materials and outside manpower or services critical to the timely and quality completion of important jobs. You will plan or review plan of subordinate supervisors for layout of difficult and important jobs. You will explain unusual or new work methods, procedures and standard of quality and quantity. You will coordinate efforts of subordinate work groups with each other and with other groups working on the same projects. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
