Clara City Senior Living has been in our community for over 50 years, with a long-standing tradition of providing great patient care. As a full- time employee you'll receive PTO, PERA, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance. Part-time employees receive PTO. RN Qualified candidates will hold at least an associated degree in nursing and licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of MN. A current CPR certification is required. Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form. The RN should have knowledge of gerontology nursing care. Candidates must be knowledgeable of or participate in the requirements of the position including but not limited to: professional requirements, care plan/assessment functions, charting, documentation, medication administration, nursing care functions (admission, discharges, transfers, technical aspects, interdisciplinary team functions), personnel functions, resident rights, and safety & sanitation. Knowledgeable of the federal and state licensure regulation for nursing facilities. The RN will complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff/following up on work results; assists in state survey compliance on a daily basis; ability to obligate nursing tasks/activities; counsel of personnel as needed; receives employee/family grievances and refers information appropriately.
