Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients experiencing acute health crises, ensuring rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive critical care experience, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

06/08/2026 Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations, to determine acuity levels and prioritize care. Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, suturing, and oxygen therapy while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and acute pain management for critically ill patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices and hospital protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and assisting with procedures such as catheterizations or spinal taps. Triage incoming patients efficiently to determine urgency levels using established protocols; provide immediate interventions when necessary. Experience Minimum of two years' experience working in emergency medicine or critical care environments such as ICU or trauma centers. Proven expertise in emergency room procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and airway management. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and medical documentation standards. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care. Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and infection control practices within hospital settings. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes situations while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
