This role serves a facility with 22+ surge beds and an average daily census of 85, supporting a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from chest pain and strokes to diabetes, mental health issues, and trauma.

Schedule:

Contract position Assigned to the Emergency Department; occasional float within ER or to a partner

ER Qualifications:

Active RN license in Georgia Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Basic Cardiac Rhythm (BCR) required TNCC and national emergency nursing certification preferred, but not mandatory Proficiency in drip management for various critical infusions Experience with EPIC EMR and use of equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, telemetry monitoring, and more

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care for an RN-to-patient ratio ranging from 1:3-4, with the support of LPNs and CNAs per shift Manage and interpret cardiac telemetry and participate in phlebotomy as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, and respiratory therapy staff Deliver high-quality care for a variety of emergency conditions with an emphasis on teamwork and clear communication Participate in a focused orientation program and ongoing education Enjoy working in a facility known for strong team culture, supported by longstanding staff and excellent resources such as central telemetry, advanced monitoring equipment, and free on-campus parking.
