Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice House team. In this specialized role, you will provide holistic nursing care to patients and families facing life-limiting illness, ensuring dignity, comfort, and support. Working closely with interdisciplinary team members, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality hospice and palliative care. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Coordinate patient/family education, discharge planning, and transfer processes. Administer medications, including subcutaneous injections and pain management therapies, with precision and compassion. Perform sterile dressing changes and follow infection control protocols. Accurately assess and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospice standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (IDT) to update and coordinate individualized care plans. Support and supervise CNAs, providing delegation and guidance as needed. Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and changes in condition. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for patient and family beliefs, values, and traditions. Assist with orientation of new staff and contribute to a positive work environment. Ensure adherence to NARMC's HIPAA, compliance, and ethical conduct standards.

Job Qualifications Required:

Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current RN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or Compact Multistate Licensure. BLS certification . One year of hospital or nursing home experience. Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently. Reliable transportation and valid Arkansas driver's license. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). 1-2 years of hospice nursing experience. HPCN (Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center) Certification. 3-5 years of experience in hospital or long-term care nursing.
