Work Schedule:
M-F 8am-4:30pm Collects patient health data systematically and documents relevant information. Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers. Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate. Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment. Educates patients on procedures, answers related questions, and ensures patient safety throughout care. Assists with patient preparation for surgery, including starting IVs, documenting pertinent information, and reporting critical values. Ensures accurate and complete handoff to/from surgery, including verifying consent and compliance with hospital policy. Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation. Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken. Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes systematically, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed. Administers medications accurately and in compliance with policy. Demonstrates competent technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used in the Surgical Services department. Other duties as assigned.Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 1+ years experience Med-Surgical, Surgical, or endoscopy nursing [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support
- CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)[Preferred]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)[Preferred]
- Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
- Acute/Critical Care Nursing
- Adult (CCRN) [Preferred]
Pay Range:
$31.44- $54.
