Overview Intake Nurse
Transfer Center Full-time:
11a-11:30p or 7p-7:30aWeekend Package Onsite:

Perform nursing triage of provided patient information to identify the providers, clinicians, and staff necessary to support medical conversations and transfers to UPH. Use their nursing skills to assess available information, knowing when to ask for more information, to ensure accurate patient placement. Knowledge, understanding, and adherence of state and federal law surrounding EMTALA, HIPAA, DNV, CMS, and other regulatory agencies. Adherence to policy and workflows regarding patient transfers, placement, and capacity.Qualifications Education:
Completion of accredited school of nursing registered nursing program and successful NCLEX examExperience:
2 or more years of Hospital RN experience in ER, Intermediate, or ICU level of careLicenses/Certifications:
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. BLS (can obtain upon hire)Similar remote jobs
