We're looking for an experienced

CVICU RN

to join a team in New Lenox, IL on a contract/travel basis starting 05/18/2026. This is a day-shift assignment with 12-hour shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and a pay rate of $2,448 per 36 hours. What you'll be doing: Providing high-acuity care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Managing post‑op open-heart patients and supporting thoracic, vascular, and interventional cases as needed Working with the care team to monitor, assess, and intervene for critically ill cardiac patients What we're looking for: Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience, including open‑heart care Prior experience with Cerner is strongly preferred Thoracic, vascular, and interventional experience preferred Current ACLS and BLS certifications (ACLS listed twice in original; ACLS required) NIHSS certification preferred Licensure and health requirements: Active Illinois RN license (a copy from your agency will be required) COVID and flu vaccinations required If you meet these requirements and want a fast-paced CVICU contract in the Chicago area, we'd love to hear from you.
