RN -Labor & Delivery

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a Family Birthing Center in beautiful Salida, CO. The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery care while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care Assess and monitor maternal and neonatal health status Educate mothers on breastfeeding, recovery, and infant care Collaborate with physicians and nursery staff on care planning Document patient care and education in medical records Assist physicians during procedures and emergency situations Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment Support team members and assist in emergencies across units as needed Act as a patient advocate and ensure quality care delivery Requirements Active Colorado RN License Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience BLS and NRP required ACLS preferred Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Pay:

$2,950.00 - $3,046.00 per week
