Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts Position Overview A healthcare facility in John Day, Oregon is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during labor and delivery Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn care Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Acute care hospital experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
