Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with a background in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) care. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who thrives in a travel contract role, supporting outstanding patient care.
Schedule:
Night shifts: 7:00pm - 7:00am 13-week contract duration
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record systems Permanent residence located at least 50 miles from facility Strong assessment, organizational, and patient advocacy skills Ability to quickly adapt to changing care environments and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a busy Med Surg unit, following all clinical standards Conduct thorough patient assessments and documentation in accordance with guidelines Implement physician orders, administer medication and treatments accurately Monitor patient progress, report critical changes, and adjust care plans as needed Foster a positive, compassionate environment that supports patient recovery Communicate clearly with patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team Support and mentor ancillary staff when appropriate Benefits include the chance to make a significant impact on patient outcomes, experience new clinical settings, and build your expertise while enjoying flexibility inherent to travel assignments.
