Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career in a dynamic environment providing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit. This contract position seeks a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in med-surg settings who can work efficiently and compassionately alongside a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN license Clinical experience in medical-surgical (med-surg) units required Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills Capability to adapt to fast-paced patient care environments BLS certification (and other nursing certifications as applicable) Proven ability to document accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records Dedication to upholding the highest patient safety and quality care standards
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering high-quality, direct nursing care to adult patients with varied medical and surgical needs Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine assessments Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educating patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions Maintaining accurate records and compliant documentation practices Responding promptly to changes in patient condition and intervening appropriately Assisting with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers as needed
