Qualifications and Experience:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year experience in a medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Current BLS certification (required); additional certifications a plus Excellent communication, organization, and time-management capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a broad range of adult med-surg patients Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated care Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with policies and procedures Foster a safe, healing environment while adhering to infection prevention protocols
