Job Description:

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) Weekend coverage: 2 weekend shifts for every 4 week schedule Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients across varying acuity levels Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize condition changes Administer medications, IV therapies, and physician-ordered treatments Provide wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative care Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Document care accurately in EMR systems Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status What You Bring to the

Team License:

Required WY DFS Certification:

Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required

Experience:

Med-Surg experience preferred; strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills required

Skills:

Strong knowledge of infection control and sterile technique Ability to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced environment Competence in medication administration and patient monitoring Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Professionalism:

Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress clinical situations while delivering safe, compassionate care

Pay:

$1,950.00 - $2,070.00 per week
