RN Nurse Consultant for Long Term Care

Nurse Consultant Job Description Job Summary As a 1099 RN Nurse Consultant you are in business for yourself but partnering with NextLTC. We source the work, do the billing and support you and the site. We provide nursing homes and assisted living communities support via project work as well as covering open leadership positions. This job does require travel as work may be in Mn, Wisc or No Dak. The work is either interim coverage for a leadership role such as D.O.N. or Nurse Manager or project work such as assisting /assessing workflow, assessments, admissions, survey, 5 star rating etc. The work can result in being away from home Monday-Friday and home on weekends. Being able to travel is a must. The candidate will possess a strong background in Long Term Care nursing, with a focus on resident care quality outcomes, risk management/ compliance with healthcare regulations. We are looking for a leader who can lead with inspiration and heart. This position is a 1099 contract position. Duties Interim DON, Nurse Manager, ADON, etc in both A.L. and SNF communities Project work such as survey readiness and recovery, workflow analysis, reimbursement support etc. Experience A valid RN nursing license is required with experience in leadership within LTC Ability to read the room, speak truth to power, inspire while correcting concerns Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear recommendations for improvement in resident care practices.
