RN, Nurse Lead (Contract)•California 95240
Contract:
13 weeks (05/11/2026•08/09/2026)
Pay Rate:
$2,605•$2,917/week
Schedule:
Night Shift Scheduling:
As needed; no block scheduling Position Summary & Responsibilities Provide unit leadership; supervise nursing and ancillary staff Coordinate care plans with physicians, team, patients, and families Monitor care quality, patient safety, and satisfaction outcomes Adjust staffing based on patient acuity and unit needs Support staff development, performance management, and hiring decisions Lead quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives Resolve patient care and operational issues; recommend improvements Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent):
Required Master's Degree:
Preferred Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills: Required 5+ years technical experience: Preferred Licenses & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice): Required BLS (AHA or ARC): Required ACLS (AHA or ARC): Required NRP (AHA or ARC): Required Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required CPR/BLS (per policy): Preferred Specialty or nursing leadership certification: Preferred Additional Information Ensures compliance with patient safety standards and quality measures Participates in performance improvement and staff development initiatives Maintains safe, efficient unit operations and equipment readiness Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply) #Workwolf
