RN ON CALL for Home Health and Hospice

Come Join "The Aspire Way"- You'll feel like you're home. We are currently hiring a part time RN for our On-Call position. The service area is from North Salt Lake to Provo. Position is for every other week, afterhours (1700-0900 Monday through Friday and 0900-0900 Saturday and Sunday). This is a salary position with benefits. Not required to triage phone calls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting required.
• Home Health and Hospice experience preferred.
• Graduated of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide care to patients in their homes in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act and Agency Policy. Caregiving to Home Health and Hospice patients while adhering to Aspire standards. Electronic charting timely with compliance. Initiates actions to improve the quality of patient care. Takes appropriate actions independently and responsively in home care situations. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers. Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, families, and facilities.

Requirements:

Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and agency requirements. Willing to travel within agency's service areas. Basic computer skills. Punctual and organized. CPR card, Driver's license and automobile insurance needed. Must complete a criminal background check.

$65,000.00 per year
