Staff Nurse Cleveland County Detention Center | Shelby, NC 6a to 6p | Day Shift | Full-Time Are you a nurse who is confident, self-directed, and thrives in a role where you can take initiative and manage patient care independently ? While support is always available, this role is ideal for someone who is comfortable being the primary nurse on shift at times and can manage responsibilities with confidence and efficiency. Keeps your skills sharp through a variety of patient needs What Youll Do Provide direct patient care, including assessments and medication administration Respond to sick calls, medical requests, and urgent needs Perform intake screenings and ongoing patient evaluations Prioritize and manage patient care needs throughout the shift Maintain accurate and timely documentation Ensure compliance with all clinical policies and procedures Support a safe and secure medical environment in collaboration with facility staff What to Expect This is a largely independent role during portions of the shift. You will be trusted to manage patient care, make sound clinical decisions, and respond to changing needs with confidence.
