We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team. This position plays a critical role in supporting clients through medical detox and residential treatment , ensuring safe medication management, monitoring withdrawal symptoms, and collaborating with the clinical and medical teams to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a detox, inpatient behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment setting and be comfortable working with individuals experiencing acute withdrawal and mental health challenges.

Schedule:

7:00pm•7:00am (3 shifts weekly), every other weekend required

Pay Range:

LPN pay range: $36•39/hr (5 years experience or greater = $39/hr) RN pay range: $46•49/hr (5 years experience or greater = $49/hr) Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to clients in medical detox and residential levels of care Monitor and document withdrawal symptoms using CIWA, COWS, and other clinical tools Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Conduct nursing assessments, vital sign monitoring, and ongoing clinical observation Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff with medical evaluations and treatment planning Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Monitor clients for medical stability and potential complications during detox Provide client education on medications, withdrawal symptoms, and recovery support Collaborate with therapists, behavioral health technicians, and case managers to support overall treatment goals Respond to medical emergencies and crisis situations as needed Ensure compliance with state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and facility policies Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice (required) 1+ year of nursing experience in detox, inpatient behavioral health, addiction treatment, or psychiatric settings preferred Experience with substance withdrawal protocols (CIWA, COWS, etc.) strongly preferred Knowledge of medication administration and detox protocols Strong assessment, documentation, and crisis management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Experience Experience working in medical detox or substance use disorder treatment programs Familiarity with co-occurring mental health disorders Experience with EMR systems used in behavioral healthcare What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in recovery
