Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old. U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. Valid Ohio driver's license. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Current Ohio Peace Officer Academy certification. No felony convictions, including expunged records. Must be insurable under Wood County's insurance carrier. No OMVI, DUS, or reckless operation arrests within the last 3 years. No misdemeanor drug convictions within the last 5 years; no felony drug convictions.
