Join the Wood County Sheriff's Office as a Road Patrol Deputy The Wood County Sheriff's Office, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Road Patrol Deputies. This role involves protecting life and property, enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and investigating criminal activities. Must be at least 21 years old. U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. Valid Ohio driver's license. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Current Ohio Peace Officer Academy certification. No felony convictions, including expunged records. Must be insurable under Wood County's insurance carrier. No OMVI, DUS, or reckless operation arrests within the last 3 years. No misdemeanor drug convictions within the last 5 years; no felony drug convictions.
