Rollback Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rollback Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating rollback trucks to transport vehicles, equipment, and other heavy loads within our facility and to external locations. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and safe driving practices will ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate rollback trucks, flatbeds, tow trucks, forklifts, and other heavy-duty vehicles to load, unload, and transport vehicles and equipment. Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Conduct routine inspections of rollback trucks and related equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Assist with automotive diagnostics and basic repairs when necessary to support vehicle readiness. Manage customer interactions professionally, providing excellent service while coordinating pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate logs of all transportation activities, including load details and delivery times. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Proficiency in operating manual transmissions, flatbed trucks, tow trucks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. Knowledge of automotive systems including mechanical components and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent conflict management skills to handle customer concerns or operational issues effectively. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Prior mechanic experience or automotive diagnostics training is highly desirable.
