This role combines hands-on field work, technical reporting, customer interaction, and operational leadership in a growing and highly specialized industry. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable working at heights, and excited about helping build a professional and safety-driven operation. This position will primarily focus on rooftop safety systems, anchor testing, inspection services, and field operations. As the company grows, there may also be future opportunities to support regional travel operations utilizing company aircraft. Candidates with aviation experience or an interest in aviation are encouraged to apply, though aviation responsibilities are not a primary function of the role today. About the Role This is a leadership-oriented field position responsible for overseeing and performing rooftop anchor pull testing, safety inspections, technical documentation, and client coordination. The role works closely with engineers, contractors, building owners, and internal leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and professionally. Key ResponsibilitiesField Operations & Safety Perform rooftop anchor pull testing in accordance with OSHA, ANSI, and engineering requirements. Conduct rooftop safety inspections and assess anchor system conditions. Inspect and verify rooftop fall protection systems and anchor locations. Ensure all field work is completed safely, accurately, and professionally. Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the region. Maintain company testing equipment, tools, and safety gear. Documentation & Reporting Create detailed testing reports and inspection documentation. Develop rooftop maps and anchor layouts using photos, measurements, sketches, and digital software. Maintain accurate records of testing results, deficiencies, and recommendations. Organize project files, field notes, and customer documentation. Assist with preparation of deliverables for engineers and clients. Engineering & Client Coordination Communicate directly with engineers regarding testing procedures, requirements, and project specifications. Coordinate project schedules, site access, and customer expectations. Represent the company professionally during customer meetings and onsite interactions. Help improve operational processes, documentation systems, and field efficiency. Leadership & Company Growth Support and improve field operations as the company continues to expand. Train and mentor field technicians when needed. Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist ownership with operational planning and long-term company development. Preferred QualificationsRequired Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working at heights and in rooftop environments. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to travel regularly. Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments. Preferred Experience in fall protection, construction, roofing, safety systems, industrial inspections, or engineering support. Experience with technical reporting, CAD, mapping, or digital documentation. OSHA training or safety certifications. Rope access or fall protection certifications. Interest in aviation, operations, or business development. FAA Private Pilot Certificate is a plus, but not required.
