Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Roofer and bring your expertise to building and repairing durable, high-quality roofs across a variety of projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing your skills in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance. As a Roofer, you will play a vital part in ensuring structures are weatherproofed, safe, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials in accordance with project specifications and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to execute precise installations and repairs Prepare roofing surfaces by cleaning, framing, or applying underlayment to ensure optimal adhesion of roofing materials Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify damage or deterioration requiring repair or replacement Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for efficient job completion Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks including framing carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry work, or plumbing as needed for comprehensive restoration projects Requirements Proven experience in roofing installation and repair with strong knowledge of roofing materials and techniques Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site safety procedures Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, chisels), power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills), and fabrication equipment Experience with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry, welding, tile laying, stucco application or metal stud framing is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during project execution Strong understanding of roof structures including framing carpentry and concrete forming techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from schematics or blueprints Valid construction site experience with a focus on restoration or remodeling projects is highly desirable Join us as a Roofer where your craftsmanship will directly impact the safety and durability of our clients' structures.
