Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements Prepare roofing surfaces by removing old materials and performing necessary repairs or restoration work Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tile, or membrane roofing with precision Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Seal joints and seams with caulking or other sealants to ensure waterproofing integrity Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other related tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation and repair on construction sites Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and heavy lifting techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication processes Familiarity with various roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, stucco, tile laying, or membrane systems Experience in related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing or remodeling is a plus Ability to perform heavy physical tasks including lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in restoration or renovation projects Join our team to build high-quality roofs that stand the test of time!
