Roofing Full Job Description Roofing Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Roofing Repair Technician to join our team. As a Roofing Repair Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems for residential clients. You will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems, including shingles and flat roofs. Inspect roofs to identify potential issues and determine the scope of work required. Prepare job sites, including setting up safety equipment and staging materials. Measure, cut, and install roofing materials to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. Ensure proper sealing and flashing techniques to prevent leaks and water damage. Operate various hand and power tools, such as roofing nail guns, hammers, and saws. Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring proper disposal of debris and materials. Communicate with clients, project managers, and crew members to ensure project goals and timelines are met. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on job sites. Continuously update knowledge of industry advancements, materials, and installation techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in roofing and gutter installation (preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques. Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Physical ability to lift heavy materials 80 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
