Room Attendant

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brunswick Maryland is seeking housekeeping professionals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be detailed oriented, reliable and dedicated to provide an exceptional experience to our guests. •Apply only if available every Saturday and Sunday. Also, all Holidays are required for this position. •

Responsibilities:

Clean bathtub/shower, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles counters and all floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes and /or cleaning agents by extending arms overhead, bending and stooping. Adhere to all cleaning procedures and instructions as provided by the hotel. Follow IHG Cleaning Standards. Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting beds a maximum 50/75 pounds. The ability to speak with guests. Self-starting personality. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Must be willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties as a team player. Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment. Ability to push and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Will be cross-trained in Breakfast, Lobby and Laundry to work shifts. Must be able to work flexible schedule: Weekends required, Holidays required. 8 to 10 hour shifts.
