JOB SUMMARY

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall satisfaction of guests by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms in the hotel. This role plays a crucial part in providing a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and service excellence specifically in guestroom areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, and dusting Vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces Replace amenities, towels, and linens as needed Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor Greet guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor when encountered Respond promptly to guest requests related to guest rooms and ensure their comfort during their stay Report lost and found items in guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and amenities in the housekeeping cart Report low inventory levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishment Ensure that each guest room is properly cleaned, organized, and free of any discrepancies Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and adherence to standards before guest check-in

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently and efficiently Excellent customer service and communication skills Physical ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and perform cleaning tasks Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed The Estate Yountville offers an attractive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.
