Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Rough Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in framing and related trades, with a strong understanding of building structures, blueprints, and safety protocols. This role involves working on diverse projects including metal building erection, concrete forming, and various aspects of residential and commercial construction. The candidate must be capable of heavy lifting and operating power tools, with a focus on precision and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Erect structural frameworks using wood, metal studs, and other materials according to blueprints and schematics Install rebar, perform concrete forming, and assist with concrete finishing tasks Manage framing for roofs, walls, floors, and other structural components Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction Coordinate with construction management to meet project timelines and specifications Assist with masonry, siding, stucco application, roofing, trim carpentry, and restoration work as needed Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times on the job site Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for framing projects Support remodeling projects by providing skilled carpentry work including drywall installation and finishing Experience Proven experience in rough framing or frame carpentry on commercial or residential sites Knowledge of metal building erection, steel framing, or metal stud framing is highly desirable Familiarity with concrete forming systems and rebar installation techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with masonry, roofing, siding, plastering, woodworking, and restoration projects is a plus Strong understanding of construction management practices and safety standards Prior work involving heavy lifting and working at heights preferred Construction site experience across various environments demonstrating adaptability and reliability This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to grow their expertise in the construction industry while contributing to quality building projects.
