Helpers may be required to perform other duties related to warehouse, delivery, and building. Helpers must also follow safety protocols and procedures. This is an hourly position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Check the truck load to ensure proper product and package count, and nothing is damaged. Learn all state and federal laws to become a Commercial Driver. Study the requirements to obtain a CDL including all safety sensitive duties. Assist with the correct check-in and check-out procedures. Ensure all invoiced products are delivered as appropriate, including all draught/package beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Stock, rotate and face all products that are stocked. Manage, rotate and maintain a neat backroom and trailer where applicable (stock, empties and breakers). Rotate back stock to cooler and shelf space as necessary. Properly collect and document all cash and checks received. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Required Skills/Abilities Valid Driver's License, with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License. Maintain up-to-date Federal Medical Card. Create, develop, and maintain good will (positive relationships) in every account. Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance (report in a clean and neat uniform at scheduled starting time). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills. Operate various tools and equipment to include an iPad, hand truck and various small hand tools. Knowledge of state and federal laws for operating a commercial vehicle. Keep the vehicle neat, clean and operational at all times. Drive vehicle safely, courteously and legally. Report all vehicle damage and required maintenance to Operations. Properly care for all company equipment. Ability to lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 165+ pounds of product. Displays a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong communication skills. High attention to detail. Proven teamwork and people skills.
