Job Description

Join a leading air ambulance provider as a Roving A&P Mechanic where you'll play a vital role in maintaining our client's fleet of aircraft and ensuring the safety and quality of life-changing missions. Responsibilities Execute and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness. Inform the Lead Mechanic of any unusual situations that demand schedule changes or additional technical assistance. Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, overseeing stock levels and securing necessary spares for repairs. Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at field bases. Prepare reports, requisitions, and certify that aircraft maintenance complies with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards. Accurately log maintenance details in RAMCO and communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic and other stakeholders. Manage parts inventory and suggest inventory-level changes as necessary. Maintain special tools, ensuring timely calibration. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the company's mission. Requirements High school diploma. FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic. Basic communication and computer skills. Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check. Skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair. Willingness to travel frequently with potential short notice. Ability to work night shifts as maintenance events require.
