Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a skilled Respiratory Therapist to a dynamic healthcare environment where your clinical knowledge and compassionate patient care will make a meaningful impact. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentials required (current and in good standing) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required Proficient in respiratory therapy modalities and treatment plans for diverse patient populations Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills BLS certification (active and current); ACLS preferred Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Previous experience in acute care strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess patients and implement prescribed respiratory therapy plans Deliver aerosol, oxygen, and other therapeutic treatments as indicated Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care as needed Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen equipment, and related technology Respond to emergency situations and actively participate in rapid response teams Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and equipment use Ensure safety standards and infection control protocols are maintained Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
