In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages, parcels, and mail along designated routes. Your enthusiasm for customer service and commitment to safety will ensure timely deliveries and positive experiences for our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills, enhance your logistics expertise, and contribute to a trusted community service. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols Load, unload, and organize packages using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Deliver packages along assigned routes with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring customer satisfaction Assist with heavy lifting and moving items as required to facilitate smooth deliveries Conduct route driving efficiently while maintaining awareness of road conditions and safety standards Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when needed, and handle customer interactions professionally Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs Skills Proven experience in customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license; familiarity with manual transmission preferred Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus Strong driving skills with a focus on safety during route driving and city or rural navigation Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently Knowledge of courier operations, load & unload procedures, and route planning techniques Embark on a rewarding career that combines active driving, customer engagement, and logistical coordination.
