RV Service Technician

RV Service Technician Shipshewana, IN 46565 Shipshewana Trading Place RV Service Center is seeking a dependable, hands-on RV Service Center Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As an RV Service Technician, you'll perform a wide range of service, maintenance, and repair work on RVs and campers of all makes and models. No two days are the same—this position requires flexibility, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn new skills as needed. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs on RV systems and components including, but not limited to: Electrical systems Plumbing systems HVAC/heating & cooling systems Appliances Slide-outs, awnings, and leveling systems Roof inspections and repairs Interior and exterior repairs Preventative maintenance services Complete service work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Inspect units and identify additional maintenance or repair needs Communicate repair recommendations and progress with service advisors and management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with additional service center duties and repair projects as assigned by management Qualifications Mechanical experience preferred (RV, automotive, construction, marine, agricultural, maintenance, or related fields) RV experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in varying shop conditions What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Is dependable and willing to learn Takes pride in solving problems and fixing things right Is adaptable and open to learning new repair techniques and service procedures Why Join Us?
