Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to champion a safe and compliant work environment across our manufacturing facilities. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols that protect our team members and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. Your energetic approach will foster a culture of safety awareness, continuous improvement, and accountability, empowering everyone to work confidently and securely. Duties Develop, update, and enforce comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and root cause analysis to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead safety training sessions and development programs to educate employees on OSHA requirements, first aid procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and emergency response protocols. Manage workers' compensation claims by ensuring proper documentation, report writing, and compliance with workers' compensation law. Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and ensure all team members are familiar with safety procedures related to manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training activities, and compliance reports for internal audits and regulatory reviews. Collaborate with management to foster a culture of occupational health awareness and continuous safety improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, occupational health practices, and environmental regulations. Certification in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is highly desirable. Knowledge of EPA regulations relevant to manufacturing operations is a plus. Familiarity with workers' compensation law, report writing, root cause analysis techniques, and safety training & development methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct engaging training sessions and prepare detailed reports. Strong analytical skills to identify hazards proactively and develop effective solutions for risk mitigation. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams committed to maintaining a safe workplace. Join us as we prioritize safety at every step!
