Safety Coordinator

Responsible for daily tasks associated with the safety department. Maintain safety logs and training files. Assist with safety training for new hires and current employees. Maintain and update all SDS books and chemical list. Assist in incident investigations. Assist in drug testing. Provide leadership and direction regarding safety policies and procedures. Conduct all daily, weekly, monthly and annual safety inspections. Crosstrain in all areas in the department. All other relevant duties to the job. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English languages preferred. Technically proficient with technology and usage of computers and software. Some college or technical training preferred.
