Safety Trainer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Safety Trainer to lead safety education and compliance initiatives across our facility. In this role, you will develop, deliver, and oversee comprehensive safety training programs that promote a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will ensure that all team members understand and adhere to FMCSA laws and regulations, occupational health standards, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation laws. By fostering a proactive safety environment, you will help prevent incidents, reduce risks, and support the well-being of our workforce. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging safety training sessions tailored to transportation environments, covering topics such as FMCSA regulations, OSHA standards, and occupational health best practices. Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans through root cause analysis. Educate employees on safety procedures and lead driver trainings Maintain accurate records of training activities, incident reports, and safety compliance documentation through detailed report writing. Collaborate with management to develop continuous improvement strategies Stay current on industry regulations and best practices in transportation, driver safety, and safety training methodologies. Requirements Proven experience in transportation environments with a strong understanding of FMCSA Demonstrated ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver effective instruction to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail in documenting safety activities and incidents.
