Role overview Sales and Marketing Director— Multi‑Site (Sturgis, SD / South Dakota) KindCare Management is hiring a high‑impact Senior Living Sales and Marketing Director to manage occupancy and community engagement for two assisted‑living buildings in South Dakota. This full‑time role offers $50,000-$60,000 base + commission (uncapped, accelerators for hitting targets) , travel reimbursement, and professional development. The position requires the ability to commute to Sturgis, SD , and within sales region to build referral networks, run outreach campaigns, and support on‑site teams. with your resume and a brief note highlighting a recent occupancy win. Responsibilities Drive occupancy growth by developing and executing targeted sales strategies for two communities; own the full sales cycle from lead generation to move‑in. Generate and convert leads through referral development (hospitals, discharge planners, physicians), community partnerships, digital inquiries, and events. Manage Marketing Strategies, Campaigns and Events to drive lead generation and brand awareness to drive the sales cycle from inquiry to move-in. Manage CRM and pipeline : maintain timely follow‑up, accurate pipeline data, and weekly reporting on tours, conversion rates, and move‑ins. Coach and enable on‑site teams : train local staff on tour best practices, follow‑up cadences, and conversion tactics. Represent KindCare externally at industry events, community meetings, and networking functions to raise brand awareness and source referrals. Analyze market dynamics and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adjust tactics; recommend local marketing investments. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all sales and marketing activities. Success metrics you'll own occupancy increase targets per community, tour‑to‑move conversion rate, referral pipeline growth, and CRM hygiene (follow‑up within 24 hours).

Requirements Experience:

Minimum 3 years in sales/marketing with proven results in senior living, healthcare ; multi‑site experience preferred.

Track record:

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed occupancy or sales targets and grow referral networks.

Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills; strong presentation and training ability.

Technical:

Proficiency with CRM systems and digital outreach tools; comfortable using data to drive decisions.

Logistics:

Must be able to commute to Sturgis, SD and travel throughout region to conduct sales and marketing activities valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
