This role drives revenue growth through proactive business development, accurate project estimating, and exceptional client service from initial bid through installation. Responsibilities Develops and manages relationships with commercial clients, including builders, contractors, millwrights, architects and designers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector and renovation markets. Collaborates with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate pricing, material selection, and timely delivery. Prepares take-off proposals and bids for large commercial and residential projects. Take residential walk-in clients as needed in the showroom. Attends industry trade shows, networking events, and project meetings to strengthen business relationships. Stays current on product offerings, fabrication capabilities, and market trends in natural and engineered stone. Schedules outside appointments and onsite client visits in coordination with other sales staff to ensure continuous showroom coverage. Complies with company safety policies and procedures. May assist with projects or activities in other departments as required to meet company objectives. Performs additional duties and responsibilities assigned by leadership. Required Skills & Abilities Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Stone Profits Solution software for the stone industry. Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Skilled in engaging with customers across multiple channels, including in person, phone, email, and social media. Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail to uphold company standards and ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations. Education and Experience High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of experience in commercial sales of construction materials preferred. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and architectural drawings. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high degree of professionalism.
