We are looking for a part-timer who excels at upselling and enjoys interacting with customers. We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and motivated Sales Associate to join our team at our snack kiosk inside The Shops at Palm Desert Mall. This is a high-commission sales position for someone who enjoys talking to people, staying busy, and making great money in a fun environment. You'll be working mall hours from open to close, helping customers discover unique and trending Asian snacks, drinks, cakes, chips, sweets, and more.

Your job is simple:

create a fun experience, hand out samples, connect with shoppers, and turn curious customers into loyal snack lovers. The best part? Pay Structure:

$50 per day guaranteed if goals are not reached (from mall opening to closing) 30% commission if daily sales goals are reached Weekday +

Weekend Pay Structure Base Pay :

$50/day guaranteed This is a high-commission opportunity designed for motivated people who know how to engage customers and create sales. Since we are a small snack kiosk, pay is performance-based and tied directly to the revenue you help generate each day. On average, the kiosk can make anywhere from $100-$700+ daily depending on customer interaction, energy, and sales skills.

Daily Goal :

$300 This goal is very realistic and achievable if you stay engaged, hand out samples, interact with shoppers, and confidently close sales. Most employees at our current location consistently hit this goal during busy weeks and seasons. During slower periods, it simply takes a little more effort and energy to bring customers in.

Commission Breakdown :

Hit $300 in sales → You earn $100 guaranteed for the day (That's already equal to 33.3% of total sales.) Anything above $300 → You earn an additional 30% commission after the goal Examples (Weekdays and Weekends) $300 → $100 (33%) $400 → $100 + $20 = $120 (30%) $500 → $100 + $50 = $150 (30%) $600 → $100 + $80 = $180 (30%) $700 → $100 + $115 = $215 (30%) $800 → $100 + $140 = $240 (30%) $900 → $100 + $170 = $270 (30%) $1000 → $100 + $200 = $300 (30%)

Responsibilities:

Actively engage with customers and promote products Hand out samples to attract and convert customers Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly attitude Learn product knowledge to answer customer questions confidently Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system (training provided) Handle the cash drawer, including counting and managing cash accurately Restock inventory as needed (inventory will be provided in cabinets) Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kiosk appearance
