Hearing Specialist Pay:
$40,000 base salary + commission (OTE $90K-$150K)Location:
Auburn, MA Work Requirements:
Fully onsite role working directly with patientsSchedule/Core Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with one Saturday per month Role Overview Our client is seeking a customer-focused Hearing Care Specialist who is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through better hearing. This role blends customer service, patient care, and consultative sales , guiding patients from their initial hearing evaluation through selecting and fitting hearing solutions. Appointments are pre-scheduled by clinic staff, allowing the specialist to focus on evaluating hearing, educating patients about hearing health, and recommending personalized hearing solutions. Success in this role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust with patients. No prior hearing industry experience is required. The company provides structured training (2-5 weeks) and supports candidates in obtaining the required hearing instrument specialist license. Key Responsibilities Deliver an outstanding patient-centered experience, ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and confident in their hearing care decisions Conduct hearing screenings and basic diagnostic evaluations during scheduled appointments (training provided) Educate patients on hearing health and available hearing technology options Recommend hearing solutions that align with each patient's lifestyle and hearing needs Fit hearing devices and provide follow-up care to support successful outcomes Guide patients through the consultation and purchasing process using a service-first, consultative approach Partner with clinic staff to ensure appointments are coordinated and patients receive a seamless experience Support clinic growth through patient engagement, referrals, and community outreach initiatives Ideal Background High school diploma or equivalent Experience in customer-facing environments such as healthcare, retail, hospitality, or consultative sales Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills Comfortable discussing health-related topics and guiding patients through solutions Motivated by performance-based compensation opportunities Ability to obtain a hearing instrument specialist license (training provided) Training & Licensing Structured onboarding and training program (approximately 2-5 weeks) Candidates begin under a temporary license while completing licensing requirements #TNG123Similar jobs in Groton, CT
